Motif Finance — Bitcoin Staking and Yield Platform

Overview

Motif is a Web3 financial platform that enables users to stake Bitcoin via EigenLayer, explore permissionless staking apps, manage yield vaults, and track rewards through a clean, trust-first interface designed for both crypto-native and institutional users.

Project brief

Design a full-featured decentralized finance dashboard that makes complex Bitcoin staking mechanics—operators, APY, TVL, remap strategies, and yield vaults—immediately scannable and actionable without sacrificing depth for power users.

Role

As a sole product designer, I oversaw end-to-end UX/UI, including dashboard architecture, staking flow, vault management, analytics, apps explorer, and a complete design system.

Methods

• Information hierarchy mapping to surface critical financial data (APY, TVL, and positions) at a glance.
• Progressive disclosure for complex staking flows, including amount, operator selection, and remap strategy in sequential steps.
• Risk-coded visual language (low/medium/high) across vaults and positions.
• Design system built from scratch, covering all UI primitives used across the platform.
